I think I love "Coco the Turtle" more than Santa! Be careful what you put in Bella's home...Occasionally, Kaitlyn(7 years later)still sleeps with a very small teddy bear my mom gave her on her fist day in the NICU.
Coco is probably here to stay!!!
Have a wonderful strengthening day, Delange Family :) We love you.

What cute pictures. I am so happy to hear about the news that her heart murmur is getting better and that the bleed has not become any worse. Praise God for his miracles and all the wonderful supporters you have praying for your family. It is amazing to see all the wonderful preemie mom supporters that have been through this or are currently going through this reach out to you guys that is just awesome. I have been reading their stories also and it is just amazing how God's presence and grace has blessed so many people. I cannot say I have been there but I can say that as a mom I understand how scary and emotional this process can be when you cannot reach out and just comfort your child. I hope you have a blessed day, that Bella continues to grow stronger, and that your walk with Christ continues to thrive forever.

Brian, Aubrey, and I love you guys very much.

Love the Santa pics! What a great idea! You continue to stay in our thoughts and prayers. I find myself checking your blog several times a day waiting for an update. :o) As to the preemie "network"... we do exist and somehow that common thread creates an immediate bond. You should definitely kangaroo if they are giving you the opportunity!! Bella seems so fragile, I know, but it will do you both a world of good. Rhys immediately settled down when we held him and he loved it as much as we did! His oxygen saturation was better, his breathing, everything. To this day the boy wants to be held all the time and that is when he is most relaxed. With the peaceful sleep comes the ability for the body to heal itself. Make sure you have a camera, because you will definitely want a picture!!

Like Candice, I check your blog a few times a day! And yes somehow, though we have never met most in person, the "micro preemie" world is VERY close knit and VERY supportive! Rhys was born a few weeks prior to Parker and reading Rhys' blog helped me understand what I was going to be experiencing. Don't lose faith and hope. And don't hesitate to ask 50 million questions 50 million times! if you ever need a shoulder to cry on or a person to vent to...which you will...we are there for you!
I also set up a chat room for micro preemies if you want to check it out... its on www.mybabyish.com
Also, Rhys and Parker both have Zaky's...it is a positional aid for preemies. It looks like a hand and it is weighted to give the baby the feeling of being held and touched. I highly recommend them. Parker will not sleep at night without his. I got mine through Candice, so if your NICU doesn't have them ask her for the info. Still praying for precious Bella

Okay... Bella behaved WAY better than Camden did when first meeting Santa. Way to go Bella! We're thinking of you guys, and Camden prays for Baby Bella during his night time prayers. We hope to meet her soon!

I have just found your blog and wanted to let you know that as a former preemie mommy, I am thinking of you and your family.
