Things around the Delange household have been somewhat calm over the last week. Our two kiddos continue to grow and become more active each day. The little man is sleeping less during the day, enjoying extended tummy time, as well as smiling and cooing when talked to. Isabella's imagination has started to run wild. Most of the day she holds her little people in each hand making them do various things each place she goes to in the house; she even tells them to "sit". In addition, she is beginning to have interaction with her dollies; tonight she put one of her dolls in Zach's swing, pushed her, and said "baby".
What an adorable smile (thanks Mere for the oh-so appropriate shirt)
The calmness ended once the weekend started. A couple of months ago we scheduled a monumental event for today...ZACH's BAPTISM. That meant company and lots of running around. My mom, best friend and her son came in Friday. Bella and Kolton had so much fun together, so much fun that this afternoon she took a 3.5 hour nap. Look at this great dance number we got to witness last night.
Then this morning the big day arrived. Kolton and Bella got ready in their Sunday best. And Zach behaved wonderfully as we swaddled him into his Christening outfit.
Zach entertained the crowd with his precious expressions before the baptismal presentation started.
He slept through most of the baptism and didn't let out a cry until Father Ligget anointed him with the sign of the cross.
Once the baptismal service was complete, he thought he was the big man in church. Look at how well he is standing in Daddy's lap.
Chris and I loved every minute of this day. It was fantastic to see our handsome, healthy son being welcomed into the Christian community with such love and warmth. The congregation at our church are an amazing group of people. We are so happy that we were able to have this service in their witness.
Gigi, Ashlee, Kolton and Luke...thank you so much for making the long trip out here to be by our sides.
Nana, Papi, Mama and Lauren...we know you would have been here if you could, but thank you so much for the special and precious gifts we were able to use during the service that Zach will cherish always.
May the love of the Holy Spirit fill your hearts always. Until next time, Peace & God Bless!
This is the story of our adorable babies, their many precious adventures, and the blessings we feel each day...

Are we behind or what...
Sorry it has been so long for an update. Chris and I have both been traveling for work, so life's been kind of hectic. Here is the latest from the Delange household:
Big girl bed
So we noticed that Bella was outgrowing her crib. She was constantly hitting her head or feet as she rolled around in her sleep. The concept of her outgrowing her crib before she turns 2 is crazy considering our micro-preemie is still low on the growth chart. But sure enough it was time. We found this cool bunk bed unit and modified it with bed rails and the bumper from her crib.
Into the crib
Now that the crib is free, the little man has staked his claim to it...although he isn't sleeping in it very much. At night he is still in bed with mommy and daddy. The good thing is that he is sleeping better and crying a little less. We still have the crying fits throughout the day but they have become less frequent. We had his 2mo follow-up this week where Dr. J looked him over and the nurses got to see his crazy beet red face after administering his shots. He is growing very well, up to 13.5lbs and 23.5in, he is making great cooing noises and holding his head up well. She seems to think his motor skills are great and there are chances he will develop early, which I am sure will be encouraged by wanting to chase his big sister around.
HALLOWEEN
Daddy's little football
Mommy's Ladybug
We had a fun Halloween. We carved our pumpkin early in the morning, made sure we had plenty of candy and then I took Bella up and down the street at dusk. She did well, although apprehensive at first, and enjoyed taking the candy out of people's hands/baskets. Her most enjoyment came at home when the doorbell rang and trick-or-treators appeared on the other side of the door. Each time the bell rang she would bounce with excitement and break into the closest thing to a run she can do.
Open House at School
We got to interact at Bella's school last night where we had a folder of drawings waiting for us and some group singing. It was so cute to see all the kids she plays with and how they play together. She is counting to ten, identifying letters, and stringing words together.
After open house we went to Olive Garden. Bella loves pasta and bread! Zach was chill in his carseat just until I got ready to put a fork of food in my mouth. I told Chris I feel like the mom from A Christmas Story. He seems to start his crying fits right as I begin to do something, especially eat.
We hope you all are enjoying the change in seasons. As enter this time of Thanksgiving, we want to remind you all of how thankful we are to have you as supporters of our amazing children. Peace and God Bless!
