Another month and more milestones..

First off, we are sorry for not writing since Zach's birthday, it has been hectic around here. Work has been a zoo for the both of us the last couple of months, so after all the daily stuff all we want to do is pass out in the evening. So here it goes:

Zach is a curious little man! He is running now and loves to chase his sister and run around the house from one room to the next. He has grown tall enough and learned how to open the pull lever doors in the house. He loves to play hide and seek with the remotes; this is quite frustrating given the fact that we have gone several days before locating the remote. The scariest thing for us though happened this past weekend...he climbed up on our bed all by himself...our bed is a good 4 feet off the ground! He is completely off the bottle, went cold turkey after turning 1. The transition to milk was quite easy once we learned to add plenty of cereal to make it thick. We are still having a bit of trouble getting him to try new foods though. No words yet but lots of great sounds. He is so happy and loving, we are truly blessed to have such a sweet little man.

Bella gets smarter and smarter by the day. She is using complete sentences, absorbs things like a sponge and loves to sing and dance. She too has had a growth spurt and is now able to get most anything off the counter tops. She loves to sit in her room and read, plays dollhouse until her brother comes and knocks the dollhouse over because he wants her to play with him and she loves playing soccer. We pass a soccer field on our way home every afternoon and she sees the kids playing soccer and says Daddy, Bella play soccer too, c'mon Daddy let's play. So when we get home we have to play soccer and most of the time we are playing keep away from Zach who really just wants to run around. As for any medical issues, she has been doing really well. We've been extra cautious of her breathing lately given all the wildfire smoke/ash in the area.

Machel and I have been able to get out a few times for some much needed date nights, the funny thing is we don't stay out very late..we are truly getting old!! Or these two are just wearing us out. Machel also got to speak to her first NICU Support Group for Hand To Hold at the beginning of the month. She was very pleased with the turn out, group response and overall how she presented. She hopes there are more to come, so wish her luck!

Well now for some pictures, which is what you all really want to see. God Bless!!

They share breakfast together almost every morning watching TV;
for the most part they share well...but not always! :)

They love to go to the park
