...But a Month of Baby Bliss
Even with all the chaos that is having 2 toddlers and a newborn, there is nothing more precious than this little man at this moment. The last week has been a little difficult for him; quite a bit of constipation, gas and reflux. We are doing what we can to keep him comfortable as much as possible but his little screams tend to break my heart in the moment. When his tummy isn't bothering him, he is incredibly alert and holding his head really well and moving/wiggling all over the place. Have I mentioned his nickname is One Eyed Willie?!? I love the movie Goonies and most of the day you will catch Alex with only one of his eyes open staring at you...super cute and appropriate!

4 Weeks of Crazy
Adjusting to 3 kiddos is CRAZY! They are precious, fun, and rambunctious all at the same time. Bella continues to love and adore her littlest baby brother. Zach has adjusted nicely actually approaching him and calling him by name. We occasionally get the "what's that?" out of him, but not nearly as often. It is obvious that he also still wants to be the baby, as you will see below, by latching onto all of Alex's things like sitting in his swing and putting the paci in his mouth.
The balancing act of taking care of Alex along with giving Bella and Zach the full attention they deserve is a balancing act. Most of it depends on Alex's mood and temperament for the morning and evening when the kids are not at school. It has even gotten to the point where this morning when repeatedly asking Bella to go to the family room to play before school, I got a 3 second AGGHHH and hand motion as she walked out of the door. Chris and I busted up laughing once she was gone.
During the day, Alex and I do great. Each day he is more and more alert, unless he just wants to be lazy; like yesterday where he slept all day and only woke up to eat...which allowed me to bum around and watch long awaited DVR'd shows. And with all of that eating and sleeping you get what becomes a little chunk, which I LOVE! All of that loose skin has quickly turned into rolls that are precious.
We hope all of you are doing as well as we are and soak up each bit of CRAZY with all of the BLESSINGS it has to offer! Peace of the Lord be with you all!

Nana and Papi came in from Florida over Labor Day weekend. They entertained Bella and Zach to the fullest potential and Nana got to cuddle with Alex for hours. We also celebrated Zach's second birthday with the family with two of his favorite things...meat from Rudy's BBQ and jumping at Monkey Joes. We all had a blast and enjoyed the awesome company!!!
