Sibling Love

Other than tackling, climbing like monkeys and learning to share, not much has been going on around our household. Normal day to day of parenting as usual. Getting Bella to understand to be gentle with Zach and that he only wants to play with her. Then there is getting Zach to comprehend that he cannot barrel into his sister’s belly like it is a tackling dumby. Little man has quickly mastered the art of climbing up the toddler swing/slide set. He is now climbing into the swing facing backward and standing up pushing himself instead of turning around to sit. He will laugh and laugh at himself like it is the most daredevilish thing ever! This past weekend he conquered the slide (and the carpet) and is now sliding down perfectly 90%of the time. Oh, then there is the bed. I think we mentioned before that he had learned how to climb up our bed that is a good 5 feet off the ground. Now he is flying up the bed, jumping on it and sliding himself right off as you catch him in the act. Bella is in full diva mode these days. Everything is princess related and she really knows how to turn on the drama. Big girl started dance class this past week. I hope to make it over one day on my lunch hour to take a few pictures without her seeing me (she has a tendency to get quite upset if we show up during school hours and we leave her there). Other than that her vocabulary and sentence structure are crazy good, love all the new things she is saying and coming up with. We had a constipation scare this past weekend but with a quick Walgreen’s run we were able to combat it pretty quickly. Other than that there is nothing but sibling love around here. These 2 may be rough with each other at times but nothing beats watching them share hugs and kisses at bedtime, feed one another fruit loops in the morning and play chase around the house screaming and laughing wildly.

On a HAND TO HOLD note, check out the link to the left. This is the mark of the 2nd Annual Preemie Power contest. If you have a NICU patient or graduate, please consider sharing their fabulous and amazing story with HAND TO HOLD.

Here are a bunch of pictures of a couple of different ocassions.
