Oh so close...

We are pretty sure D3, our newest little man, will be here this coming weekend. The last several weeks have not been very good for me; contractions on and off as well as him sitting very low and pushing on my cervix. All a little too reminiscent of how I carried Isabella right before she was born. Dr. B has actually felt his hand 3 out of 4 times in the last 3 weeks. The cerclage comes out this Friday and if that hand is still there…most likely he will push his way out. I pray that I make it to Friday for her to take the cerclage out. Lord knows I do not want to experience the same pain I did with Zach going into labor with that thing still in…incredibly painful.

Bella and Zach have been a little on the crazy side the last month plus. We would like to think it has to do with baby coming. Their teachers have even commented on their unusual behavior of acting out. Neither one of them listen to direction when asked to do something. And both of them laugh at you when you try to be stern toward them. Oddly enough, Zach is often better behaved than Bella. He seems to have gotten over the terrible 2s phase for the most part with only the occasional outburst. Bella on the other hand has become a fight to squash her diva attitude. I’m ready for little man to get here so I can have my body back to be able to do more around here, but at the same time I am afraid of the chaos that will begin with his arrival. I keep telling myself it will be okay because I will be able to do more with Bella and Zach…but will I really between pumping, feeding and taking care of little man? Only time will tell…

Between birthdays, father's day, entertaining the munchkins as much as possible, and two crazy work schedules, summer has been busy. Luckily we have taken a few pictures along the way. The kid's favorite thing to do is go to the pool. I kick back in the lounge chair and take pictures while daddy wades in the kiddy pool or guides them around in the big pool. Enjoy and God bless!
