ISABELLA IS 4lbs!!! I did a happy dance when the isolette lit up 4lb 0oz (1810grams) tonight. She is up to 34mL per feed and it is definitely helping her to fill out. Some other great news is that she did 6 hours on the cannula this afternoon and into the evening. By the time Daddy gets back she may not even be on the CPAP. All day she had good consistent breathing with few desats while on room air. They scheduled a head ultrasound for tomorrow as a follow-up to the last one done after she was a month old. This is not being done because there is anything wrong...just a follow-up. Bella and I had a very nice night together. She was very alert at her 9pm care. I did all of her care, we played, I gave her a bath...all by myself with no nurse to supervise...and put her to bed by swaddling her. I am so thankful for all these things we get to share with Bella as she grows. This little angel truly is a blessing.
We received an unbelievable package today from Emily Isbell, full of preemie clothes. Emily has been so kind to our family, compassionate and encouraging. Emily has health problems of her own yet always has the spirit to care for others. Please keep her in your prayers tonight for all that she is going through (you can find her blog by looking in our followers).
Ezekiel 34:26
And I will send showers, showers of blessings.
Look at that leg! She will be ready to do yoga with Mommy in no time. I guess the L-Carnatine is working.
She was pooped after her bath that she passed out all sprawled out!

4 lbs...NO WAY!!! That's great news. She'll be in double digits before you know it. Been thinking of you all lots this week and next as you are apart. Hope the time flies and Daddy gets safely back to his girls soon.
