Baby Bella Day 77

Isabella has been our blessing in the flesh now for 11 weeks! We are so blessed and thankful to the Lord for giving us such a miracle! I flew in tonight and the first thing we did was go and see our little baby Bella. I got to hold her and see her beautiful little face! She looks so adorable without anything covering her face, she looks like such a big girl!! She seems to be doing very well and continues to breathe very well. Her weight seems to have plateaued at 4lbs 5ozs, but we hope that she gets back on the chunky monkey train soon!! Here are some pics of our little angel. Last night we also started taking more pics of her Nurses and RTs. We want Bella to know all of the wonderful people who cared for her and prayed for her and loved her in her first months of life. We are going to make a picture book for her and us. Thank you all for your prayers and God Bless!

Amazing how you can love your child so deeply. . .I know after everything a NICU parent and child goes through, that bond will be forever strong. Here is a poem that I wrote for all of the nurses, RTS, doctors that helped save Olivia's life.

Angels on Earth by Jodi Glunt

Thank you for being with my child
At times when I could not.
You experienced firsthand her fragility
You know how hard she fought.

I wish we’d never had to meet
In this journey so long and wild.
How do you possibly thank someone
For saving the life of your child?

Please accept this poem I wrote
As thanks for what you do.
And I speak for all of those who can’t
Whose lives depend on you.

You must endure the sadness of death
And yet see the miracle of birth.
Daily performing God’s wondrous deeds
You truly are angels on earth.
