Yeah for carseat challenge! Nothing to be scared about my friends! This is what you've been praying and waiting on. How exciting! After the initial transition for you three you will remember what the NICU was like, but it will feel totally normal to have her at home.
Yeah for the carseat check and challenge. Machel and Chris you guys will do awesome it just comes so natural once you get them home. I think she looks absolutely beautiful and she is getting so big. I think it will be just a matter of time before she gets to come home. I will keep you guys in my prayers for wisdom on what to do when she gets home and for continued healing of Miss Bella.
OMG! Really? The carseat fitting? She will be released before you know it! Being scared is natural, I was terrified. But guess what, she's made it almost 8 years at home with me! You guys will do just fine. Will you need to stay in VA, or get to go home to TX? Love and Prayers, Cynthia
Okay, with the car seat trial passed (I assume), you are very close to going home. I bet they are just waiting a week or so after the surgery to make sure everything is fine there. It is kind of scary to not have the monitors to watch, but you get used to it really quickly!
OMG, we just got back from Dallas and I was computer deprived. So I just checked and it looks like little miss Bella grew up over the past 4 days! I cannot believe how wonderful she is doing and she just looks so BIG! I almost freaked out when I saw her in her car seat! God is so great - I cannot wait to hold her some day :}
The carseat check is a sure sign! I remember being nervous without the monitors and the nurses, but boy do you get used to it. She is so beautiful. So glad she is doing so well. Continued prayers.
