Baby Bella Day 92

So does anyone notice anything about the princess? She has a hat on, which means the IV is GONE! And there is no feeding tube in her nose. The only wires she has on her is her pulse ox and leads, these just display her vitals on the monitors. Man, thought this day would never come! Bella has done very well in the last couple of days. She still struggles with her temperature but Pam explained to me that could have something to do with her very small brain bleeds at birth and it is something she would grow out of. Also, we have to keep reminding ourselves that she is learning how to use a new part of her body that as she grew she didn't know existed. This could be throwing her temp regulation off as well, and also her oxygen saturation. As she is gasey, bears down, and grunts she is most likely to drop her sats. Everything else about her is great...I changed 4 dirty diapers yesterday and Deb said today that she had a dirty diaper at each care time. Lauren and I spent the day trying to get all of our essentials for when Bella comes out of the hospital. It may be sooner than we think! Love & God Bless!

I loved getting to spend time with you both this week. What a blessing that her intestines have healed so quickly and things are working as they should. Keep them coming, Bella! She looks so cute holding her paci. What a big girl! Sounds like you will all be together at home very soon. We are praying for your preparations for the return to Texas and for a smooth transition from the hospital.

Yeah, she's tubeless!!!
I guess that means that she'll need 0-3 mt clothes now, since she's getting big and outgrowing her preemie clothes.

Do ya'll have a homecoming date?
