Baby Bella Day 94

...sorry I didn't write last night! I got to do something really amazing, play mommy for a night. UVA NICU has overnight rooms so that families can stay with their babies just before they take them home. I got to stay with Isabella all night last night. And boy let me tell you, did I experience the perks of real motherhood. I will write more about the events of the night and post pics later.

Have a blessed day! :)

Can't wait to hear about your overnight adventure. I know the overnight stay is supposted to help the transition, but my overnight stay was absolutely miserable; probably the worst night of Kaitlyn's infancy. Once I got her home, it was much better and far less complicated!

I agree with Cynthia. The first night at the hospital was so miserable. If yours was also not what you expected don't panic, it is much better at home. That is so great you are getting closer to the door!

WONDERFUL!!! That is one way to really get a feel for the night time routine with little Bella! WOW, I am so happy for you and your family. She is such a blessing and I cannot wait to see new pics soon!

Congratulations on almost going home that is so exciting. It looks like Morgan is going to have probably another 3-4 weeks :( His feeding isn't going so well and his ROP isn't getting better or worse so he still has to have weekly exams. I miss UVA, Fairfax is ok but not as nice as UVA.
