Baby Bella Day 97

Good Day All! Two days closer to leaving the hospital. Ahhh, how sweet...actually bittersweet. We have made so many great friends in the NICU, it's incredible. Thank goodness for Facebook and Blogs, right!?! Isabella is doing splendid. They have increased her actigal to help get the bilirubin/bile flushed out. Hopefully she will only have to be on that for a month after discharge. Bella is eating well and is always hungry. Hmmm, I wonder which one of us she gets that from, we both LOVE food! Sometimes she actually eats too fast. Her weight is up to 5lb 14oz. Never know, she could be right at 6lb when we walk out the door. I spent some time working with Physical & Occupational Therapy today. The ideal setting is to work with her 2-3 times a day, right after diaper change or feeding to stretch her muscles and joints. She still has some tone problems and concerns. I am looking forward to doing these kinds of exercises with her. As all my fellow preemie moms out there know, it is going to be constant work to observe her patterns, routines, and signs for development. On to tomorrow...

Peace & God Bless!

Hi there. I stumbled upon your blog and wanted to ask if you would like a free, custom blog design? I run a scheme called "write from the heart" from my blog and I offer free blog designs (backgrounds, headers and any buttons you need) for people who are sick or who have sick children. It's my way of giving something back to people. If you are interested you can find out more information here http://thepimpmyblogblog.blogspot.com/search/label/write%20from%20the%20heart. Thanks :)
