Baby Bella Day 99

The day is here, after 99 days our little princess got to come home with Mommy and Daddy. I can't remember a happier, scarier, more exciting moment than walking out of the UVA NICU. We are so thankful to the Lord for being our strength and giving us a precious miracle. We are so thankful to our family and friends for all of the prayers, support, gifts, kind words and love. The NICU staff was amazing and filled with so many loving people, we are truly blessed! Now, the pictures!!!

Awesome, awesome. I'm so happy for you guys. I remember the day that we got to take Olivia home. It was actually the most stressful day ever! We decided to go straight to an eye appt on the way home (dumb idea) and had to wait 2 hours in the waiting room as it started to snow and sleet outside. Then, we had to take her home on an icy road. It was awful and I was a mess. It was amazing, however, to take her through the door of our home. Many great memories ahead for you guys. Remember that so many people are here for you and Isabella has found her way in to many people's hearts.

AWESOME!!! It is so exciting to see ya'll walking out of hte NICU! I am sure it was an interesting night and I hope that you have many wonderful memories of these first few days at home with little Bella. They are precious moments that you both will treasure forever. When Mal was little I decided to keep a journal of little cute things that she did. I look back at the beginning and laugh as some of the feelings I had about her or the cute things she did! Cherish that - they grow up so fast (PS Mal will be in Kinder next year)!

Love and Kisses,
Kim

What an exciting day I am sure you are taking some time to adjust to the new schedule as well as Bella with no alarms and bells. She is just adorable. I have a gift for Miss Bella but I will send it with your mom when she comes to see you guys. Congratulations on this exciting time, enjoy it now because they grow up so fast. I still remember when I could cuddle with Aubrey and he enjoyed it outside of being sick or tired. Hope things are going well for you guys and I will keep you and Chris in my prayers for restful nights and wisdom as new parents.
