Baby Bella Day 52
Bella had some A&Bs today, but they seem to be positional and blockage related. She is doing quite well breathing otherwise. Her Bilirubin level increased and they were concerned that she might have a kidney, gall bladder or liver issue. An ultrasound revealed that everything looks ok, although a GI specialist will examine her tomorrow. They think her bilirubin levels are up because she was on her TPN feeds for so long. Her body is still learning how to process, digest and excrete her feeds. They think that with some medicine, I can't remember what she's on, it should help with the Jaundis. Otherwise she is doing quite well, so here are some pictures of our baby girl, enjoy and God Bless!
