Post PDA Surgery Update

Good afternoon all! We wanted to let you know that Bella went into surgery about 10:30 this morning (she got bumped back after all) and came out about 12:30. The doctors said that things went well and they will be reviewing x-rays soon. All her vitals look good, they don't think they will have to put her back on the oscillating vent for breathing support (conventional should be okay), and they didn't have to give her much dopamine to support her blood pressure during the surgery (they had given her hydrocortizone this morning before surgery). One thing they did mention is that they may have to give her more blood this afternoon althougth she did not lose much during the surgery. So overall things seemed to go smoothly. We will post more tonight after we find out more from the doctors. (There is a link to the right titled PDA Info if you want to learn more about this.)

Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers and continued support. This would be so much harder without you!

Peace, Love & God Bless!
