Baby Bella Day 2

Machel woke up at 5am and started to pump some milk for the baby. The DRs in the NICU call it liquid gold and we were hopeful that Isabella would be well enough to start taking some breast milk through a feeding tube. We went down to see her and she looked amazing. She made it through the night, she looked strong and yet so fragile, I can't describe the nervousness and cautious hope that we have for her. We seem to be visiting her every 2 hours as Machel pumps some more liquid gold. Today Machel's Uncle Ricky drove down from Baltimore to see us and he was so great, he brought some groceries and love. I then went to the airport to pick up Machel's mom. Machel's company has been so amazing, they flew Kathy out here to be with her baby girl and her new granddaughter. And they are constantly calling and checking up on Machel and Bella. (Rebecca was a gift from God and took care of Machel Thursday before I could be in VA, thank you so much for that!)
So we went down to visit Bella with her grandma and the nurse gave her a tiny amount of breastmilk! We were so excited, she seems to calm down when we are there and Grandma got to reach in and hold baby Bella's leg. It is so amazing seeing her, I still can't believe that we have this little miracle! We are settleing into a routine now and every 2 hours Machel pumps then we go down to drop off the milk and spend 30 minutes asking questions, staring at the little angel and talking to her. When we went down at a little after 10 Colleen, her nurse from last night too, was there. She said that Bella was doing great, she was weighed and lost 3 oz, but they said that was normal. And the largest weight lost occures in the first 24 hours. They also ran a head ultrasound, but the results weren't in yet and they would have them tomorrow morning. So we are back in the room now and tired. We are on an emotional rollercoaster and are constantly thinking and praying for her. We thank you all for doing the same and it is amazing the amount of love and prayer that everyone is showing to our little angel Isabella.
THANK YOU LORD FOR THIS MIRACLE!
