Isabella is such a little princess, not only does she have me wrapped around her litlle fingers but now she apparently has the chief of the NICU too! As they were doing rounds, Dr. Boyle looks down at her, looks at the other Drs and residents and proclaims, here is Isabella the Queen of the NICU, she is a superstar 25 week old! She is soooooo going to be spoiled!! Machel and I have already bought her like 10 books that we take up to the NICU and read to her. Something else to show you what a princess she is, when she is left alone she breathes great, heart rate is normal, everything looks great, BUT as soon as the nurses touch her she fusses and her O2 levels fall and her heart rate goes up and down. She puts a pouty face like, seriously? I was so comfortable, why would you move me? I think she is going to be just like her mother, a beautiful princess, I AM IN TROUBLE!! :)
The heart murmur sounds are much improved, although we won't know if the treatment fully worked until the last treatment today is finalized and they examine her either tonight or in the morning. We are so thankful, we go into the NICU and look at all of the babies and it really does touch my heart. There are many families going through what we are going through, and I pray for them as you have all prayed and sent love toward us. I am so thankful that so many of you care so much that you help lift our spirit and Isabella's spirit. I thank the Lord for her health and continue to hope for the best.
She did get her picture with Santa and the nurses at the NICU said that they will email it to us tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. We were going to buy a new camera for Christmas for each other, so this weekend we are going to get one. (We were taking pictures with Grandmommy's camera) So pictures might not be up for a few days. Thank you all for your love and support and thank you Father, Son and Holy Spirit for instilling us with the joy of life, friendship, love and happiness.

Well she does sound like she is gonna be just like her mommy, lol! Good updates and cannot wait to see her pics with Santa! Many hugs to all of you - prayers too!
Many prayers to you and your family. I found you through Rhys's blog. I gave birth last year to 23 week twins. My son, Logan, is now looking down from heaven on his sister, Olivia. We miss him every day. Olivia is over a year old and doing great. I know how hard the NICU journey is. There aren't tons of micro-preemie parents out there, but know you are not alone. If you need anything, let me know.
God Bless
Hello! I found your blog through Rhys's. It is good to hear that your little Bella is doing so brilliantly so far! I've never had a preemie baby (my last son was two weeks late!) but both of my boys have had major medical issues, and my first son, Will, lived for just 15 minutes. My other son, Charlie has an incurable heart condition, but is now five and is the light of our life! So I do understand the whole hospital rollercoaster thing! Just wanted you to know that I'll be checking in on your blog, and will be praying for you all. With love XXX
