Baby Bella Day 7 morning

We went and saw our beautiful little girl this morning. She was so peaceful. She spent most of the night on her stomach and was on 21% O2, room air almost the entire time with little to no episodes! We are so thankful for each night and each day that we get to see our little miracle grow. She looks so much bigger and stronger than she did 5 days ago and I can't help but think that the spirit of the Lord, your love and prayers and the wonderful staff at the NICU have helped fill her little body with love, faith and given us hope. She was given her 2nd dose onf Endomycin for the PDA and will get one more this afternoon at 5pm. After that the echo will reveal if the PDA has closed and if we can progress forward. Other than that, she is doing great, her biliruben light is still on, but that might be turned off soon. Oh yeah, we went shopping yesterday for a blanket and found the cutest little reindeer that says baby's first christmas, we wanted to get something for her because sometime today between 1-4 SANTA is coming to visit her!! SANTA IS COMING!!! The little joys are what makes living so great! We will try and post a picture of her and Santa this afternoon.
One last thing, thank you all for your prayers and emails and love, but I ask that you also extend those prayers to the many other needy families around the world struggling as we are to get through these difficult times. We hope that the Lord bless them and their families as well. Thank you all so much for giving us love, and thank you Lord for providing us strength and providing us joy.

Good Morning Delage Family!
I am praying for another strengthening day for you guys and especially Isabella.
When you are ready, maybe you can start a count down of her expected release date! I think it should be somewhere around your original due date in March. I did this for Kaitlyn, and guess what...she came home a week early than the docs expected (always early, that girl!)
To quote my hubby...
"Baby Daddy/ wood chopper guy"...say hello to your parents for me. I am sure they are thrilled to meet their first granddaughter!
Can't wait for the pics with Santa!

Chris & Machel!! I have to say I probably look at your blog at least 50 times a day waiting anxiously for a new update! I am so amazed by your precious little superstar (I love that by the way). She is fighting so hard and it’s because she knows all the wonderful things she is fighting for. It’s amazing to see your love for her and it is truly inspiring. God is performing a wonderful miracle right in front of you and all of us as we are all going through this with you guys. Bella is so precious; I can’t wait to meet her. She is so lucky to have parents as wonderful as you two. I can’t wait to see the Santa pictures!! We are praying for all of you!!

Good morning you guys! Okay so I had to giggle this morning when I read your morning message. As I read about how Santa's coming to visit, I got this mental picture of Will Ferrell in Elf when he's in the department store and they announce that Santa's coming, and he yells SANTA!!! Yeah. I so pictured both of you yelling SANTA just like in the movie! Ha! Can't wait to see the pics!

I am so glad y'all are reading about little baby Rhys and his story. I have followed him for the last 4 months, after someone sent a link to their blog saying they needed prayers. I have never met them, and probably never will, but reading about their journey has been awesome and I look forward to reading about yours as well. It sounds like Bella is truly a little fighter and already has such an incredible purpose here on earth. My prayers for her and your family will continue for as long as they need to.

SANTA!!! I know him!

You should totally sneak in a DVD player so Bella can enjoy her first of many Elf viewings. Camden seemed to really enjoy it this year, but still not quite as much as I did.

Continually praying for Bella, Mom & Dad, the nurses, and doctors. We love you guys!
